BAN ON FIREWORKS STILL IN FORCE, CP DELTA WARNS

The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, Mr Adeleke Adeyinka psc has said the ban on the use of fireworks is still in force and that the Command will enforce all the extant laws prohibiting the use of fireworks such as “knock-out,” “banger.”

Mr Adeyinka noted that the ban was necessary to safe-guard public safety and avoid distractions to security operatives, especially during the yuletide season.
