Bayelsa: Supreme Court Dismisses APC Gov. Candidate Application, Says Judgement is Final

The Supreme Court has rejected an application for review of the judgment which dismissed the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state, David Lyon and his deputy, Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo.

The judgement which was read by Justice Amina Augie said the application lacks merit, expanding that the decisions of the court are absolute.

Justice Amina also added that the applicants failed to point out misconceptions, stating that the judgment is final for all times.

The highest court judge said “the judgment is final in the ‘real sense’ and no court on earth can review the judgment”.
