The Chairman of the Kogi West Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) , Barr. Taiwo Kola-Ojo is dead.

This was contained in a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Bode Ogunmola on Wednesday.

According to reports, Barr. Ojo slumped and died on Tuesday evening while playing lawn tennis.

Ogunmola, described the death as sudden and shocking.

The statement said the PDP West Chairman’s continuous contributions to the growth and success of the party in the state would be greatly missed.

The party prayed God to grant the immediate family, members of the deceased Chairman and the party the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of a committed party member.
