NUJ Delta Council, Mourns With Gov. Okowa’s Chief Press Secretary On Death Of Mother

The Delta State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) has mourned with the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor of Delta State, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, on the death of his mother Mrs Eunice Ifeajika.

This is contained in statement issued by the council, in Asaba, the Delta State Capital and was made available to newsmen.

In the statement, the council said the sudden passing on to glory of Mrs Eunice came as a surprise but affirmed gladness that she lived to a sweet old age.

The union encouraged the CPS and his family members to take relief in the fact that their mother lived a fulfilled life, stressing that she was a devoted Christian and community builder.

The council also prayed for the peace of the soul of the dead and for God to grant those left behind the determination to bear the irreparable loss.

The CPS Mother Late Mrs Eunice Ifeajika died at the age of 84.
